You could be reassessing what safety really means to you. Was that worth it? Was that relationship, that purchase, really aligned with your values?
Then things shift into something so lovely. Romance and creativity are in the air! This is a beautiful time to value your relationships, your art, your self expression, and to feel a bit more playful and flirty. You’re also being so supported in building your confidence, in becoming that favorite version of yourself, maybe through a beneficial conversation with a mentor or someone you look up to.
And then we have this massive new beginning. Secrets could be revealed, conversations could get intense, but there’s so much healing available if you lean into it. You are not alone in this.

Monday, August 3rd
On Tuesday, we have Chiron going retrograde in the sign of Taurus. This can feel very uncomfortable. With Chiron going retrograde, it feels as though some old wounds around your sense of self worth and self value are coming up right now. Chiron is the asteroid known as the Wounded Healer, so when it goes retrograde, it will be retrograde for quite a few months.
It’s helping us reflect more on our healing journey, especially with financial matters, self worth, and whether you’re aligned with your values. In which ways have you not been investing in yourself?
With Chiron retrograde, this feels like you’re reassessing your idea of safety. What does safety look like to you? This isn’t only financial, though that will be emphasized. It could also be reassessing the objects you own in your home, or reflecting on whether something, or someone, was really worth it.
Thursday, August 6th
On Thursday we have Venus entering the sign of Libra, and this is beautiful. Venus loves being in the sign of Libra. It’s at home here. With this energy, we’re really in a place of valuing our relationships, valuing more art, creativity, and self expression. Venus is the planet of values, it’s how we show love and affection. So with Venus in Libra, things are going to get more romantic in your relationships.
This is a better time for you to date as it feels more fun and a bit more flirty! This is also a great time to update your wardrobe or really appreciate art, maybe going to an art gallery or fine tuning your artistic practice. This doesn’t have to focus on romantic relationships either. We could just really value connection with Venus in Libra, spending more time with friends, or valuing more teamwork at work.
Friday, August 7th
On August 7th, we have the Sun in Leo trine Saturn in Aries. Saturn is retrograde at this time, and what’s really interesting is this is very supportive. It looks like something you’ve been working on for a long time is really benefiting you right now. I see this more so as your self concept and self image. Maybe you’re feeling more confident this day. You could have a really beneficial conversation with a mentor, a coach, a father figure, or someone in authority.
This is very helpful in terms of building that confidence, becoming the person you want to become. You’re being very supported about your long term goals and long term vision, especially with becoming that favourite version of yourself. Maybe you’re witnessing your own growth, or the process that’s been slow and steady, like a workout routine finally showing results, and you’re proud of that growth.
Sunday, August 9th
On Sunday, we have Mercury entering the sign of Leo, and this is going to shift how we communicate and how we think. Mercury is the planet of thinking and communication, and in the sign of Leo we’re being more expressive, passionate, and authentic with what we’re sharing with the world. We’ve had Mercury in Cancer for quite some time because of that messy Mercury retrograde in Cancer.
With it now in Leo, I think we’re feeling more of this joy and this craving to connect more, especially with your authentic voice and any passionate projects you have. This is honestly great energy to do any creative work or to film any content you might have. It’s a really fun and playful touch to our communication, so you could be having more lovely, uplifting conversations, and you could see people feeling a bit more optimistic overall.
Wednesday, August 12th
This Solar Eclipse in Leo takes place on August 12th at 1:45 p.m. EST, and it's one of the first of a series of eclipses on the Leo & Aquarius axis affecting you until 2028.
We have a grand trine in the sky with Venus in Libra trine Pluto in Aquarius trine Uranus in Gemini, showing lovely, supportive interactions with your friends, community, and network. Both the moon and sun sit at 20 degrees Leo, with a beautiful Leo stellium including Jupiter, Mercury, and the south node.
Jupiter in Leo trine Saturn in Aries supports your self concept and the discipline you've been building. Mars in Cancer sextile Chiron in Taurus brings healing conversations, maybe with a mother figure.
Go back and reflect on 2017 to 2019, and even 2008 to 2009, the last times we had this Leo Aquarius node axis. Similar major themes returning now.
