EP115: LUCKY, EMOTIONAL & INTENSE / How the upcoming New Moon in Cancer will affect you ⛲️

06.16.25—06.22.25 / How my Mentee overcame the fear of being seen to attract new collaborations & speaking opportunities 🎤

Dear friend,

This week’s astrology is deep.

We’re moving through some major emotional shifts, and I’m walking you through it all.

Mars is finally leaving Leo after months (since November 2024!) and entering Virgo on June 17th. This is going to completely shift how you take action in work and relationships.

You’ll start to crave more structure, clarity, and acts of service in dating. Yet before that, on June 16th, Mars is at 29° Leo—so be careful of burnout and ego flare-ups.

There’s some confusion and overwhelm this week with Jupiter squaring Neptune. This isn’t the time to force clarity—rest and reflection will serve you best.

Cancer season begins June 21st, bringing an intuitive, nurturing energy.

Finally, I guide you through the emotional, lucky yet intense New Moon in Cancer happening next week on June 25. It’s a tender new beginning around your home, safety, intuition and your idea of family.

You’ll want to take notes on this one!

I dive deep into what this means in this week’s podcast episode above!

NEXT WEEK

Wednesday June 25th / New Moon in Cancer

Monday June 16th 2025 /

Mars hits the final, 29th degree of Leo—and this feels intense. You might feel really burnt out. Like “I cannot do another thing today” kind of energy.

This is exhaustion, power struggles, pushing past your limits. Other people might be super reactive and sensitive, so if anyone’s ego is inflated or drama’s happening—don’t take it personally. You’re not meant to go full speed today. Don’t overbook yourself. Give yourself permission to rest.

Mars at 29° brings this “something has to shift” moment, but you don’t need to force anything. Just notice where your energy feels tapped out and schedule in recovery time. Think of it like a big exhale after an intense season.

If people seem irritable or over-the-top, it’s because they probably are. Let this day be a checkpoint for your energy—where are you pushing too hard? Where can you choose softness instead?

Tuesday June 17th 2025 /

Mars moves into Virgo after months in Leo (since November 2024!). This is a huge shift! We’re moving from performative energy to practical energy. It’s a new chapter in how we take action, especially around work and relationships. Now, we want to plan, be of service, refine the details. In dating, acts of service matter. In business, it’s about getting your systems and structure right. Be mindful of perfectionism or spiraling into self-criticism. You’re not meant to have all the answers, just take grounded steps.

The same day, the Sun in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries, opening space for healing conversations. This could be a sweet talk with a friend or sibling where you feel safe to share what’s really been weighing on your heart. It’s emotional—but in a good way. A day to connect, get vulnerable, and maybe finally say what you've been holding in. Major clarity can come through today.

Thursday June 19th 2025 /

Jupiter in Cancer is exactly square Neptune in Aries on Thursday, and things feel murky. You could feel totally overwhelmed or mentally foggy. There’s a clash between your desire to grow and your current self-image or identity. You might feel this internal pull to do something intuitive, yet be confused about how it fits into your current life. It’s like your soul says yes but your brain says, “Wait—what are we doing?” Family patterns, old emotional loops, or something around your home or roots could be surfacing. Don’t force clarity. Let things settle.

Also, be mindful of media, advertising, or celebrity culture feeling extra that day. It could be overstimulating. The best thing you can do? Rest. Drink water. Meditate. Journal it out. Know that the confusion isn’t permanent—it’s just asking you to slow down and realign. Let yourself dream, but don’t demand that it all makes sense right now.

Saturday June 21st 2025 /

Cancer season begins on the 21st—and the vibe changes! We’re focusing more on emotions, intuition, family, and the definition of “home.” This doesn’t always mean your literal family—it’s about what nurtures you. You might feel more emotional or introspective, but also more creative and connected to your heart.

On the same day, Mercury in Cancer trines the North Node in Pisces. This is a major spiritual nudge. Conversations today could feel divinely timed. You could be thinking about working with a therapist, mentor, astrologer, or spiritual guide. You might have a moment of clarity around your bigger purpose and feel supported by the universe in that decision. Whether you’re journaling or talking it out, you’re tuning in to what really matters. Be gentle with yourself—Cancer season is about feeling things deeply and honoring them. There’s a lot of insight available, especially when you slow down enough to listen.

Sunday June 22nd 2025 /

There’s a bit of emotional discomfort on Sunday with the Sun in Cancer square to Saturn in Aries. You might feel restricted—like your feelings can’t be expressed the way you want. An authority figure, parent, or system might make you feel blocked. Yet this friction is helping you see what needs to shift.

You could be realizing that it’s time to create better boundaries or take your future self more seriously. Maybe you want to work out or show up for yourself, but you’re emotionally drained—and that inner battle is real.

Still, Mars in Virgo is sextile Jupiter in Cancer brings some lovely support. You could feel really held in your relationships or validated by a plan that finally feels aligned. You might even feel proud of how you’ve set things up for yourself. Just be mindful of not overextending emotionally, especially if you’re holding space for someone else.

Wednesday June 25th 2025 /

This upcoming New moon in Cancer (4° at 6:31 AM EST) is both beautiful and a little tender.

It’s happening in Cancer, where the moon feels most at home, bringing a powerful opportunity to reconnect with your emotions, intuition, and sense of safety.

You might be dreaming about a new home, deeper emotional security, or stronger roots. With Jupiter also in Cancer (and exalted here!), this is a moment for emotional expansion—learning to receive more, especially when it comes to comfort and care. This feels lucky!

Yet the New moon also squares Saturn and Neptune in Aries, so there's still some tension. You want a fresh start, but responsibilities or emotional confusion might slow things down.

Mercury square Chiron in Aries also adds vulnerability—especially around childhood wounds or your relationship with your mother. Expect deep conversations or emotional breakthroughs. Uranus at 29° of Taurus brings surprise clarity—especially around your values, finances, or self-worth.

This new moon asks: how can you create true safety within?
